Privacy Policy

How EXZIDE Legal collects, uses, and shares information submitted through our websites and campaigns.

Last updated: 12 March 2026

Who we are

EXZIDE Legal is a legal marketing and lead generation company. We build and run advertising campaigns on behalf of workers’ compensation law firms, screen the people who respond to those campaigns, and pass qualified claimant records to the law firm that commissioned the campaign.

This policy explains how we handle personal information collected through our websites, landing pages, forms, and advertising campaigns. It applies to information we collect as a controller of that information.

Information we collect

  • Information you provide. Name, email address, telephone number, general location, firm information, and any details submitted through a form, call, or text message.
  • Claimant screening information. Responses to the screening questions on campaign landing pages, including injury type, date of injury, location, employment circumstances at the time of injury, whether the incident was reported to an employer, treatment status, and whether you already have legal representation.
  • Verification records. Confirmation that a telephone number was verified by SMS, along with the date and time of that verification.
  • Consent records. A record of the disclosures shown to you and the consent you gave, including timestamps and the page on which consent was collected.
  • Automatically collected information. IP address, browser and device type, referring URL, pages viewed, and similar analytics data collected through cookies and comparable technologies.

How we use information

  • To respond to enquiries and provide the services requested.
  • To screen and verify claimant submissions against the criteria set by the law firm running the campaign.
  • To transmit qualified submissions to that law firm or its authorised intake platform.
  • To operate, measure, and improve advertising campaigns and website performance.
  • To keep records of consent and disclosures, and to comply with legal obligations and enforce our terms.

How we share information

Claimant information submitted through a campaign landing page is shared with one participating law firm, for the purpose of evaluating a potential claim. We do not sell claimant records to multiple firms and we do not resell a record after it has been delivered.

We also share information with service providers who support hosting, analytics, telephony and SMS verification, communications, and customer relationship management. Each is subject to contractual confidentiality obligations and may only use the information to provide services to us. We may disclose information where required by law or to protect our legal rights.

Communications consent

When you submit a form or request contact, you consent to receive telephone calls, text messages, and emails from EXZIDE Legal or a participating law firm at the number and address you provided, including through automated technology where that is disclosed at the point of collection. Consent is not a condition of any purchase or of receiving legal services. Message and data rates may apply.

You can opt out of text messages at any time by replying STOP, and unsubscribe from emails using the link in any message. Opting out of marketing messages does not remove information already transmitted to a law firm.

Cookies and analytics

We use cookies and similar technologies to understand how visitors use our sites and to measure advertising performance. Most browsers allow you to refuse or delete cookies through browser settings. Some features may not function as intended if cookies are disabled.

Data retention and security

We retain personal information for as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes described in this policy and to meet legal, accounting, or reporting requirements. Consent and verification records are kept for as long as they may be needed to evidence compliance.

We maintain administrative, technical, and organisational safeguards designed to protect personal information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Your rights

If you are in the United States. Depending on your state of residence, you may have the right to request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information, to know what categories of information we have collected and disclosed, and to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information. See our Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information page, or contact us using the details below. We will not discriminate against you for exercising these rights.

If you are in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom. You may have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict, or object to processing of your personal data, the right to data portability, and the right to withdraw consent at any time without affecting the lawfulness of processing carried out before withdrawal. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your national supervisory authority.

We will acknowledge a request and respond within the timeframe required by applicable law.

Information already transmitted to a law firm

If your information has already been provided to a participating law firm, that firm holds it as an independent controller under its own privacy practices. To have it removed from that firm’s systems, you will need to contact the firm directly. We can tell you which firm received your information.

Children

Our services are directed to adults and to law firm professionals. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision. Material changes will be reflected on this page before they take effect.
